What’s New

Updated Energy Tracking Algorithms

New density-based clustering methods have been introduced to improve the accuracy of energy analytics. These methods allow for adjustments due to process upsets and sensor repositioning without affecting energy calculations. Users can now have increased confidence in the energy savings recorded by NRG Monitor.

Equipment Log Improvements

Numerous optimizations and bug fixes have been implemented to enhance the user experience of tracking notifications and providing detailed feedback. Notable improvements include:

  • Selective component feedback when adding feedback via the Notification Log
  • Additional fields for capturing savings details under the Additional Info section of the feedback form
  • Date selections for feedback are restricted to past dates and up to the current day
  • Updated alarms on the Enterprise Health Summary to match those in the Equipment Log

Multiview Dashboard: Fault modes in Vibration Amplitude graphs

All possible fault modes can now be selected directly in the vibration amplitude graphs. Fault modes can be accessed from both the master graph and individual graph selectors, offering greater flexibility and control. This streamlined selection process provides a smoother workflow for analyzing and diagnosing vibration-related issues, enhancing accuracy and efficiency in fault detection.

Date and Grid selector changes for Multiview Dashboard

An issue was addressed in the MultiView Dashboard where the Date Selector and Grid Selector
at the top of the page were not remaining visible while scrolling. Users no longer need to scroll back up to make selections, improving both accessibility and efficiency.

Motor Component popup changes

  • The Rotor Bars question has been removed from the technical info logic calculation and the Recommended Info section.
  • A new Optional Info section now appears after Recommended Info and before Sensor Info, and the Rotor Bars question has been moved to this new section.

Anomaly detection color updates

The color for Anomaly Detection has been updated to purple throughout the platform, aligning it with the color used for Nano AI Alarms. This adjustment ensures consistent visual representation wherever Anomaly Detection status is displayed.

Equipment Edit Popup Consistency Update

The design of the Equipment Edit Pop-up in the Config Dashboard and on the Health Summary page has been made consistent. The pop-up design from the Config Dashboard is now used in both locations to provide a uniform user experience.

MVD Graphs & Equipment Log Drawer Update

The equipment log drawer in MVD no longer overlaps the stacked view. Graphs now automatically adjust their widths to fi t the screen, offering a more seamless viewing experience across various screen sizes.

Pop-up dialog Update for Email & Stage 4 Alarms

When updating email and Stage 4 alarms, the pop-up dialog message has been changed to:
| “The threshold will be updated once the new data set is received.”
This message appears in the Email Alarm Update pop-up, the Stage 4 Threshold pop-up, and the popup dialog itself, providing clearer information on threshold updates.

Config Dashboard – Pop-up Size Update for Move and Duplicate Actions

The Move and Duplicate pop-ups have been enlarged to improve usability, offering additional space for interaction and better accessibility.

Config Dashboard – Popup Dialog Update for Component Creation

The popup dialog’s message regarding resetting fault modes no longer appears when creating a new component. This message will only display when a component type is changed, ensuring that messaging remains relevant to user actions.

Config Dashboard – Consistency and UI Improvements in Asset Tree

  • The three dots and plus icons now appear only on hover, a behavior already in place for components, and now extended to equipment, machines, and plants.
  • Text truncation has been refined so that names (e.g., Company, Plant, Machine, Equipment, Component) use available space more effectively. The maximum character length remains consistent across items.

Config Dashboard – Asset Tree Behavior Update

The expand and collapse behavior of the asset tree has changed to streamline navigation:

  • Clicking the right arrow in the collapsed view expands the menu to the full view.
  • Clicking the left arrow reduces the menu to a mid-size view, and clicking the left arrow again returns the menu to the default collapsed view.

Config Dashboard – Technical Info Column Update

The Technical Info column remains visible and functional while hovering through the Asset Tree, ensuring smooth navigation and an uninterrupted user experience.

Enhancements to the Component Tab in Config Dashboard

We’ve made significant improvements to the Component Tab to enhance usability and efficiency:

  • Inline Table Editing : Users can now edit component configurations directly within the table for a more seamless experience.
  • Tab Restructuring :
    • A dedicated “All Components” tab to view all components in one place.
    • Additional tabs dynamically categorized by component type, grouping similar components under a single tab for easier management.
  • Improved Configuration Controls:
    • Assign and unassign sensors directly from the table.
    • Modify mount configurations with ease.
  • Future Enhancements (Upcoming Features)
    • Multi-Select Component Edit: Ability to edit multiple components at once.
    • Change Component Type & Subtype: Users will soon be able to modify component type and subtype directly.

SSO Login: Case Insensitivity for ORG Name

The ORG name in the SSO login is now case-insensitive, permitting users to enter the ORG name in any case without login issues.

Daily Alarm Notification Email Fix

An issue that added an extra line of “——” beneath the “Link to Dashboard” text in Daily Alarm Notifi cation emails has been resolved. The email layout no longer displays extraneous lines, resulting in cleaner and more consistent formatting.

Along with these new features, this release includes a range of bug fixes and optimizations to improve overall system stability and performance.
