What’s New

Config Dashboard

We’re excited to introduce our new Config Dashboard, designed to help users easily build and manage equipment hierarchies and configurations. This updated dashboard offers intuitive DIY functionality, along with additional new features. It is only available for Super Admin and Admin users who also have access to DIY app.

Benefits
  1. Streamlined Asset Management: Manage assets from the plant level down to the component level, making it easier to handle complex configurations.
  2. Enhanced Control: The ability to delete, move, and duplicate assets offers flexibility for managing your asset hierarchy.
  3. Improved Visibility: With dedicated tabs for equipment and components, users can better understand and modify their asset configurations.
Key Functionalities
  1. Add Asset: Users now have the flexibility to create and manage assets, from building the initial machine tree to configuring the technical details of the equipment and components. This feature allows for seamless asset management within a company, enabling detailed tracking and configuration at every level of configuration.
  2. Delete Asset: The ability to delete assets, offering users more control over asset lifecycle management. Assets can be removed as needed, making it easy to keep the dashboard clutter-free and up-to-date.
  3. Move Asset: Users can now move assets between different parent assets, providing greater flexibility for re-organizing and managing asset hierarchies. This feature is especially useful when expanding, restructuring or reassigning responsibilities within a company.
  4. Duplicate Asset: The new “Duplicate Asset” functionality allows for quick duplication of an existing asset, including its configurations. The duplicated asset can then be placed under any other asset. This feature currently works at the Equipment and Component levels, simplifying asset replication and setup.
  5. Component and Equipment Tabs: The Equipment and Component tabs have been introduced to enhance visibility and simplify the management of existing configurations. These tabs allow users to easily visualize and manage asset configurations, as well as make changes to component and equipment settings. Users can now view, edit, and update configurations more efficiently, ensuring accuracy and completeness of technical information. A new icon has also been added to quickly indicate which equipment is missing any technical details to improve the quality of insights.
  6. Assign and Unassign Sensors: Users can now assign sensors to individual components directly from the Config Dashboard component pop-up. This allows for accurate sensor mapping, ensuring components are properly monitored and aligned with configuration requirements. Users can unassign sensors from components as well, providing the flexibility to remove sensors as needed or reassign them elsewhere.

NRG data in the Data Sharing API

Users can now query energy consumption changes at the component level using the Data Sharing API. This feature enables detailed monitoring of energy usage changes over time for individual components, allowing for more precise analysis of energy efficiency.

Energy Data displayed in Localized units based on Company Location and Custom Conversion factor

We have added the ability to calculate and display the energy cost per kWh on the Homepage based on the location of the country and also the conversion factor unit set in the portal. This feature will provide users with more accurate energy cost assessments, facilitating better financial planning and energy management.

For example, the energy cost per kWh will now be displayed in the currency of the country set in the portal and will also depend on the conversion factor . This allows users to receive accurate energy pricing that reflects local rates and conversion factor.

Bearing number search improvements

The bearing number search functionality has been enhanced to support case-insensitive queries. Users can now enter bearing numbers in any case (upper, lower, or mixed), and the search will return relevant results consistently.
Additionally, the search results will prioritize exact matches, ensuring that users see the most relevant results first.

Latest available data on Sensor Health Summary

We are excited to announce the addition of a new feature in the Sensor Health Summary section that allows users to view last available data for sensors connectivity info. A user can filter to a specific machine or equipment and change the date to today’s date, which will the load the latest available data.

By default, we load cached data from the previous 24 hour period. Selecting today’s date will retrieve the latest available data, which can result in longer load times due to lengthy API queries. Therefore, it is advisable to limit queries to 10 sensors or less for optimal search results.

Key Highlights
  1. Date Selection: Users can now select today’s date from a convenient date picker interface to view latest available sensor data.
  2. UTC Timestamp: All data on SHS is displayed in UTC timestamps, ensuring consistency and accuracy across different time zones.

On changing time stamp the zoom does not reset on plot pages

Implemented functionality to reset the zoom level to the default state whenever the time stamp is changed. This ensures that users can view the updated data clearly without manually adjusting the zoom level. This has been done for Flux frequency Spectrum and Vibration Spectrum Graphs.

Hover Over Notification Log will show “First + Last Name” instead of “UserName”

All instances of email addresses and usernames in the Notification Log and Equipment Log have been replaced with the corresponding First and Last Name. This change aims to provide clearer identification of users and improve the overall useability of the logs. Improved areas are Notification Log on the Equipment Health Summary page and Notification Log on the Dashboard Landing page.

New Logo and Home Page Interaction Across Dashboard

We have removed the Home button from all pages and dashboards. And instead of that added a
logo in the top bar that functions as the home button. Additionally Introduced the left hand
side menu for improved navigation for the NRG Dashboard page.

Update to New User Welcome Email

The “welcome” email now includes a secure link for users to create their own password. This link will be valid for 24 hours, enhancing security by ensuring that users can set their own passwords during their first login instead of sending credentials over email.

Notification Feature for Component Learning Phase

We have updated our notification system, so that during learning phases of components we will no longer mute the late stage fault notifications. When a component is in “learning” health status we evaluate the fault amplitude trends using ISO and ASNT thresholds, along with a correction factor based on speed. The Late Stage Faults triggered during learning will use a different email template, so they are easy to distinguish from other Late Stage Fault Notifications.
This will assure that even when components are just starting to be monitored but the vibration levels exceed acceptable range, notifications will be send out so pending failures are flagged.

Changes made to Notification API and Downloaded csv for NanoAI and Email Alarm

This release introduces enhancements to the Notification API and the downloaded CSV files to improve data visibility and usability regarding alarm notifications.

Changes Made
  1. New Column for Alarm Type: Added a new column indicating the type of alarm, which can either be “NanoAI” or “Email”. This helps users quickly identify the source of the alarm notification.
  2. New Column for Alarm Set Point: Introduced a new column that displays the set point value of the alarm. This provides critical information regarding the threshold at which the alarm was triggered.
  3. New Column for Overall Values: Added a column containing overall values which captures the values of all three axes (X, Y, Z) at the time the alarm was triggered, giving a complete context of the alarm event.
  4. New Column for Health score: Added a column containing the health score. This helps in users to understand the health status.

Performance Improvements

We are excited to announce significant performance improvements to the dashboard, enhancing user experience and increasing overall efficiency. These updates aim to reduce load times and optimize the responsiveness of various features.

Key Improvements
  1. Optimized Data Fetching: Implemented more efficient data retrieval methods, resulting in faster load times for data-heavy components.
  2. Resource Management: Reduced the size of JavaScript and CSS files through minification and bundling, leading to faster asset loading.
  3. Front-end Performance Tuning: Enhanced front-end performance through code refactoring and the use of modern web technologies.
