Finalist at 2020 NASA iTech Cycle II forum
Selected as one of the top 10 innovators for NASA iTech Program
[Edmonton, Canada]: On 9th October, NASA iTech named NanoPrecise Sci Corp as of the “top 10 finalists for NASA’s iTech Cycle II forum”. Through a competitive process, NASA chief technologists narrowed these entries to the top 10 that demonstrated the most potential to solve problems – in space and on Earth.
“NASA’s iTech Program focuses on Innovative Technologies and its impact to solve real problems. Our team is extremely happy to be one of the top 10 finalists for the cycle II program,” says Sunil Vedula, Founder & CEO at Nanoprecise Sci Corp.
NASA iTech program looks out for top trailblazing technologies and innovation that can help enhance NASA’s missions while also improving life on Earth. Every year there are two cycles: Cycle I and Cycle II. This year Cycle II specifically called for innovative technologies in the areas of power generation and energy, integrated photonics, advanced engineered materials, and miniaturized systems. One category named
“X-factor innovations” was left open for technologies and concepts that may not fit the other prescribed categories but still sparked the agency’s curiosity.
This year the program is virtual and applications for Cycle II came around from the globe for NASA iTech & NASA chief technologists narrowed those entries to the top 10 that demonstrate the most potential to solve problems – in space and on Earth.
