Version 4.0.0-Oct 25, 2025

What’s New

Updated Remaining Useful Life (RUL) Algorithms

RUL calculations have been modernized to reflect current health status and provide clearer, more consistent outputs. These changes improve interpretability for planning and reporting while preserving API compatibility for downstream systems.

Key Details:

  • The RUL algorithm now factors current health status into the RUL computation.
  • RUL is standardized to percentage (%) only; the hours display has been removed.
  • Data sufficiency checks apply; if inputs are insufficient, RUL = NA.
  • Permitted values are percentage or NA (no other formats).
  • Data Sharing API remains unchanged and continues to send RUL as a percentage.

Sensor Dashboard and Table Improvements

The Sensor Dashboard and table have been updated for better readability, usability, and alignment with the new design.

  • Pie Charts: All pie charts have been removed except the Sensor Data Upload chart.
  • Heatmap Table: The new heatmap table has been moved to the top of the dashboard, alongside the remaining pie chart.
  • Columns Removed:
    • Last Running column
    • Index column at the start of the table
    • Number of Uploads column
  • Tooltips & Color Coding:
    • Tooltips added for: Signal Strength, Humidity, Temperature, and Last Received columns.
    • Columns are color-coded based on the metric ranges
    • For offline sensors, a grey vertical dash is shown. Hovering over it displays “Offline”.
    • Hovering over any value shows the actual value and the range it falls into.
  • Data Export:
    • No changes to the downloaded file; all data export functionality remains intact.

Health-Based View Renamed and Simplified → Notifications Page

The former Health-Based View has been reimagined as a streamlined Notifications page. The update clarifies counts, simplifies filtering, and focuses the experience on actionable alerts and feedback, reducing noise from inactive records.

  • Renamed: Health-Based View → Notifications ; Legacy View → Plant-based View.
  • Page heading and list titles updated per design:
    • “Equipment Log” table → Notifications.
    • “Equipment Log” side panel → Notifications.
    • “Details” pane → Activity pane.
  • Date filter surfaced prominently on the page.
  • Inactive logic deprecated:
    • No inactive events are shown; items are not classified as active/inactive.
    • Health Status will not show “Inactive.”
  • Search operates across all fields except Timestamp and Acknowledge.
  • RUL column removed from Notifications page.
  • For 0 equipment in log, headers display “0 Equipment.”
  • Notifications sidebar hidden on this page.

Frequency Marker Synchronization and Tabs Added to Waterfall Graph

In the Spectrum graph, users can switch between tabs like RPM, BPFI, BSF, and Harmonics. When a user selects a harmonic or frequency, the corresponding values are plotted dynamically on the relevant graphs (RPM, BPFI, BSF, etc.). The same interactive functionality has now been
extended to the Waterfall graph to provide a consistent and powerful analysis experience.

  • Interactive Behavior:
    • When the user selects a frequency on any of the above tabs, the corresponding harmonics/frequency markers are plotted on all the relevant graphs (similar to the Spectrum graph).
    • Users can now select a specific timestamp on the Waterfall graph to view the frequency markers associated with that moment.

Removal of Timestamps Without Data Points (Adaptive NanoAI)

Charts no longer synthesize timestamps without measurements. Visuals now change only when new sensor data is processed, ensuring graphs reflect real observations and preventing confusion from empty time slots.

  • Discontinue chart updates based solely on NanoAI threshold changes.
  • NanoAI changes are visualized only alongside new sensor data.
  • No empty timestamps are added without sensor measurements.
  • Applies to all charts that use adaptive NanoAI, including:
    • NanoAI threshold lines
    • Fault stage thresholds

Equipment & Component Timeline — Notification Filtering

Timelines are now easier to parse by toggling visibility at the legend level. This speeds up investigation by focusing on the most relevant notification types.

  • Clicking notification types in the legend hides or shows those notifications in the timeline.

NRG Access Extended to Admin Users

Access to NRG has been expanded to support broader operational analysis. This change aligns permissions with common administrative workflows.

  • Roles with NRG access: Super Admin, Admin, CSO.
  • The User Configurations roles & permissions table has been updated accordingly.

Feedback Improvements

Feedback is more collaborative and informative, with smarter defaults for repair actions and clearer guidance for cost inputs. These enhancements reduce data entry effort and improve the quality of maintenance records.

  • Tagging: CS and CM Points of Contact (PoCs) are now taggable in feedback descriptions.
    • Prioritize configurations for PoC users at Company-level; fall back to Org-level if not set.
    • Any user can tag the configured CS/CM PoCs; if PoCs change, the taggable list updates.
  • Repair action auto-populate: Selecting Repair expands Additional Info and auto-fills:
    • Unplanned downtime saved
    • Estimated cost of lost production (if known)
    • Auto-populate occurs only for Repair; values remain if the action changes afterward(Additional Info stays open).
  • hover tips added to both fields with text:
    • “Default value for repairs configurable in the Company → Units section found in Configurations.”
  • Company Config: Hourly Downtime Cost is now editable.

Notification Filter Updates

Notification filtering is simpler and more consistent with established patterns in other areas ofthe platform.

  • Maintenance Type dropdown removed from Notification Log Filter.
  • Acknowledgement filter aligned with Equipment Log: Radio button for Unacknowledged | All.
  • Daily Alarm Notifications removed from the filter.

Chart Scaling for Irregular Time Distribution Graphs

Time-series charts now provide clearer scaling and time context, especially when data samplingis uneven. Combined with value rounding, this improves readability and trend interpretation.

  • Toggle labels updated: Irregular Time Series (formerly “Distribution On”) and Regular Time Series (formerly “Distribution Off”).
  • Added hover display for timestamp at the bottom of the graph.
  • Auto-scaling enabled for Irregular Time Series charts; standard for all such graphs.
  • Raw data values rounded to two or three decimals for display.
    • Raw measurement and time values are now restricted to 2 decimal places.
    • Frequency values are now restricted to 3 decimal places.

Date Range Selector — Instant Apply & Preset Refinements

Date selection has been streamlined across the platform for faster workflows and fewer clicks. Selections now apply automatically, preset ranges are standardized around “today,” and the calendar is cleaner and easier to use.

  • Instant apply (no “Done” button):
    • Selecting any preset on the left (Today, Yesterday, Week, Month, 6 months, Year) auto-applies immediately.
    • Choosing Custom range then picking a start date and end date auto-applies when the end date is selected.
    • Clicking a start date first automatically selects Custom range; picking the end date then auto-applies.
  • Cleaner calendar: The space below the calendar has been removed.
  • Consistent availability: Dates outside the currently displayed month are clickable. Only future dates after today are disabled (shown in gray).
  • Applies everywhere: The updated behavior is enabled for all date range selectors across the dashboard.
  • Preset date selection changes (anchored to today’s date):
    • Today: Only today
    • Yesterday: Today and yesterday
    • Week: Last 7 days up to today
    • Month: Last 30 days up to today
    • 6 months: Current behavior retained – 180 days up to today
    • Year: Current behavior retained – 365 days up to today

Consistent Unit Display Across Sound Graphs

All sound-related graphs (RMS, Frequency Spectrum, Waterfall, and Time Waveform) now
consistently display the standard Y-axis unit as dB, ensuring uniformity and easier comparison across graphs.

Real-Time RPM (Speed) Monitoring and Alerts

Purpose:
Users now have visibility into the real-time RPM (Revolutions Per Minute) of equipment, enabling them to monitor operational performance remotely

Feature Details:

  • RPM/Speed Graph Enhancements
  • Added a dedicated RPM graph displaying real-time speed values.
  • Introduced Pre-warning, Warning, and Email Alarm levels on the RPM graph, following the same behavior and color conventions as other graphs (e.g., vibration, sound, flux).
  • Users can hide/unhide the Pre-warning, Warning, and Email Alarm lines using the legend —consistent with existing graph behavior.
  • The Settings (gear) icon on the RPM graph opens a popup for alarm configuration.
    • Configuration options: Single Point only.
    • Email Frequency behavior matches other graphs.
  • Added new Notification Code: HRPM
  • Added to User Management for subscription control.
  • Included in Timeline View, MVD, and Daily Alarm Notification Emailers.
  • Users who subscribe to this notification will receive real-time email alerts when RPM thresholds are breached.
